IREN Ambiente coordinates the activities of IREN Group in the environmental field. The company is actively working in the field of alternative energy sources, such as biomass, wind, geothermal, solar and photovoltaic energy, and is active in the research and development in this field carrying out projects in several Italian regions. From an operational point of view, it collects and transports hazardous and non-hazardous domestic and special waste and manages all the treatment, recovery and disposal plants for urban and special waste, either directly or through subsidiaries.
