The Consiglio Nazionale Architetti, Pianificatori, Paesaggisti e Conservatori (National Council of Landscape Architects, Designers, Landscape Architects and Conservators), a body established and registered at the Ministry of Justice by Law No. 1395/23, was given its current name, which replaces the original name of Consiglio Nazionale Architetti (National Council of Architects), following the entry into force of the Presidential Decree No. 328/01, which lists beside the traditional figure of architect other specialist roles with five-year and three-year (junior) degrees. The Board is composed of 15 members, elected by the Provincial Orders, whose term of office is five years.
