The Collegio Carlo Alberto is a foundation created in 2004 as a joint initiative of the Compagnia di San Paolo and the University of Turin.
Its mission is to promote research and higher education in social sciences, in accordance with the values and practices of the international academic community, through a three-pronged action plan:
the production of high quality research in economics, public policies, social sciences and law;
the provision of university education and a high level degree in the above disciplines;
the contribution to the public debate.
In particular, Collegio works closely with four departments of the University of Turin, which host economists, sociologists, political scientists and jurists.
Collegio Carlo Alberto – Università degli Studi di Torino supports these projects
FA.C.E. – Farsi Comunità Educanti
The project FA.C.E aims to increase access to educational services for children aged 0/6 years in order to fight educational poverty in four Italian areas characterised by fragile contexts. It sets up participatory paths and educational services with local institutions and communities.
