Fondazione Reggio Children promotes research and solidarity projects in the educational area, starting from the experience of the infant-toddler centres and preschools of Reggio Emilia.

Fondazione Reggio Children is a research centre that promotes projects in the educational field and at the same time redefines the very concept of research.

In recognizing research, starting from academic and scientific research, as an essential element to improve the quality of life of people and communities, Fondazione give value to research in the educational field as elaborated and implemented in the experience of infant-toddler centres and preschools in the city of Reggio Emilia. A research that appreciates and values diversity and dialogue, multidisciplinarity and circularity of knowledge, with an attitude of continuous innovation.

A research that does not exclude a quantitative investigation and assessment but enhances the qualitative dimension, in which the meaning is not only reconstructed by seeing and observing, is not only found in the surrounding nature waiting to be revealed but is constructed through the process.

Fondazione implements projects in different areas, in dialogue with partners who share the value of education so as to promote the well-being of communities.
