This page describes how to manage the site with reference to the processing of personal data of users who consult it.

This privacy policy is provided pursuant to Art. 13 of European Regulation 2016/679 to those who interact with the foundation’s web services.

The privacy policy is provided only for this site and not for other websites that may be consulted by the user through links.

The privacy policy identifies certain minimum requirements for the collection of personal data online, and, in particular, the methods, timing and nature of the information that data controllers must provide to users when they connect to web pages, regardless of the purpose of the connection.

THE “DATA CONTROLLER” OF DATA PROCESSING

Following consultation of this site, data relating to identified or identifiable persons may be processed.

The “data controller” of data processing is Fondazione Reggio Children – Centro Loris Malaguzzi, in the person of the legal representative pro tempore.

PLACE OF DATA PROCESSING

The processing operations connected to the web services of this site take place at the foundation’s registered office and are carried out only by technical personnel of the Office in charge of data processing, or by persons in charge of occasional maintenance operations.

No data deriving from the web service is communicated or disseminated.

The personal data provided by users who request information material (newsletters, CD-ROMs, catalogues, price lists, answers to questions, various actions, etc.) are used only to perform the service or performance requested.

TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED

Navigation data
The IT systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.

This information is not collected to be associated with identified data subjects, but by its very nature it could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified.

This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the site, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc..) and other parameters relating to the operating system and computer environment of the user.

This data is used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its correct functioning and is deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of hypothetical computer crimes against the site: except for this possibility, at present the data on web contacts do not persist for more than seven days.

Data provided voluntarily by the user

The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of e-mails to the addresses indicated on this site entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the message.

Specific summary privacy policies will be progressively reported or displayed on the pages of the site prepared for particular services on request.

USE OF COOKIES
With regard to the methods of use of cookies, please refer to the additional and specific “extended privacy policy” published on this site and processed in accordance with the provisions of the Decision of 8 May 2014 issued by the Italian Data Protection Authority, which integrates and completes this document.

OPTIONAL PROVISION OF DATA
Apart from that specified for navigation data, the user is free to provide or not personal data.

Failure to provide them may make it impossible to obtain what has been requested.

PROCESSING METHODS

Personal data are processed by automated tools for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected.

Specific security measures are observed to prevent the loss of data, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorised access.

TRANSFER TO THIRD COUNTRIES

Any transfer of personal data to a third country outside the European Union or to an international organisation will take place on the basis of an adequacy decision by the Commission or, in the case of transfers referred to in Art.s 46, 47 or 49, par. 2, of the European Regulation, on the basis of appropriate and adequate safeguards.

RIGHTS OF THE USERS
The subjects to whom the personal data refer have at any time the right to request access to the data and their rectification, their cancellation, the limitation of processing, the right to object to their processing, as well as the right to data portability; they also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority.
