"Marionette e Avanguardia. Picasso, Depero, Klee, Sarzi" on display in Reggio Emilia

There’s also Fondazione Reggio Children in the show exhibition event organized for the 100th anniversary of the birth of Otello Sarzi proposed by Fondazione Palazzo Magnani and Reggio Emilia, from November 17, 2023 until March 17, 2024.  

Going on scene will be “Marionette e Avanguardia. Picasso · Depero · Klee · Sarzi”, followed by James Bradburne, Scientific Committee member of Fondazione Palazzo Magnani.

The exhibition develops around “fourth wall” concept, the ability of emotional involvement making of a well-successful show a reality capable of immersing the viewer in the show enactment. When a puppet broke the fourth wall, conquers public trust, giving the show the power to blend that division between stage and world, between art and life.

Will enrich the exhibition a series of side activities – tours, conferences , training and educational activities for schools of each order and degree, refresh courses for teachers – projected and realized by educational Department of the Fondazione Palazzo Magnani in collaboration with Fondazione Reggio Children and Fondazione Famiglia Sarzi; exclusive events for companies as well as special projects for subjects with fragility in collaboration with FRC – Farmacie Comunali Riunite (Reggio Emilia Città senza Barriere project), ASP Reggio Emilia Città delle persone, Oscar Romero Consortium (Strade project), AUSL of Reggio Emilia, with the goal to speak to different audiences, in the knowledge that art, enjoyed and practiced, is the high road to conjugate individual development and social cohesion.
