Applications for the Servizio Civile Universale at FRC are now open for four young people aged 18 to 28

Applications are open for the Servizio Civile projects in the Reggio Emilia area implemented within the system headed by Confcooperative Reggio Emilia, with the involvement of numerous local entities that will host a total of 52 young volunteers for 2022.
For the second year, Fondazione Reggio Children adheres to the program with the "Re.actions to regenerate educating communities" project which aims to conceive, plan and conduct educational proposals in the territory of the Municipality of Reggio Emilia, making 4 places available.
The activities will take place at the offices of Fondazione Reggio Children, Pause Atelier dei Sapori and The Remida Reggio Emilia Centre for a total duration of 12 months (25 hours a week, 5 days a week).
Divided into the three different realities, the volunteers will be involved in activities to support the management of activities and projects, the communication and dissemination of project initiatives and results, and the planning of new activities through participation in announcements.
The volunteers will be supported by staff and involved in various activities, depending on the specifics of the entity.

Pause – Atelier dei Sapori
Pause is the research lab of Fondazione Reggio Children dedicated to taste and wellbeing, where the relationship with food, starting from the experience of the kitchens in the Preschools and Infant-toddler Centres of Reggio Emilia, becomes multisensory and creative. The core of the project is the relationship generated between people, knowledge, taste and experience.

Remida – The Creative Recycling Centre
The Remida Centre in Reggio Emilia is a project and a place where research is conducted on sustainability and creativity starting from industrial waste materials. The Centre is visited every year by more than 6,000 people like teachers, artists, students, administrators and interested people coming from all over the world.
