"Parole al futuro": an event on inclusive language at Caffarri on Saturday, April 11

From this awareness comes "Parole al Futuro" (Words for the Future), a moment of reflection and dialogue by Famiglie Arcobaleno in collaboration with Fondazione Reggio Children - Centro Loris Malaguzzi ETS. The event will take place Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 10.00 AM to 12.30 PM at Centro Caffarri, via F.Gioia 4, Reggio Emilia.

Throughout the morning, contributions will be given by Barbara Laura Alaimo - pedagogista and trainer of Parole O-stili, Francesca Cavallo - writer, entrepreneur, and playwright, Erminia Fazzolari - communication consultant and trainer, Valeria Roberti - trainer, author, and activist, and Monia Marcacci - Board Member of the Famiglie Arcobaleno Association, with moderation by Digital Freaks. 

The initiative aims to open a shared space for dialogue on the role of language in shaping more inclusive, welcoming, and respectful contexts. Through the contributions of both speakers and participants, the event seeks to encourage collective reflection on how words can become concrete tools for social change.

Parole al Futuro is open to all citizens, educators, professionals, and anyone interested in exploring the relationship between language, culture, and inclusion. 

On the occasion of the event, Fondazione Reggio Children will make its educational spaces available, offering a workshop by reservation from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. entitled “Parola al corpo" (Giving Voice to the Body), designed for children aged 3 to 6. The workshop invites participants to discover the language of movement and to express themselves through the body using simple games. In addition, there will be opportunities to explore different expressive languages through free activities designed for all ages. 

Participation is free of charge, with mandatory registration via the Eventbrite platform.
