Not just any location: a week full of initiative to celebrate Loris Malaguzzi’s birthday

From the 20th to the 26th of February, during the week that celebrates Loris Malaguzzi’s birthday, Reggio Emilia’s town, nursery schools and pre-schools – Reggio Children and Fondazione Reggio Children – Loris Malaguzzi center offer many initiative to think about education, participation’s themes and about 100 languages.

• From Monday the 20th to Thursday the 23rd of February

At the international Loris Malaguzzi center will take    place the annual meeting of Reggio Children international Network

On Thursday the 23rd of February at 5pm

At international Loris Malaguzzi center will take place an event on invitation directed to mayors and councillors of education from Reggio Emilia

“paths and political awareness on primary childhood” – considerations on politics about educational service as common good of Reggio Emilia’s town. Paths and challenges for the future.

During Loris Malaguzzi’s birthday, nursery schools and pre-schools celebrate with the eve of the night of tales.

An occasion, throught narration, to shape partecipation with boys and girls, teachers and parents.

The night of tales “fairy tales are true” – waiting for Reggionarra 2023

All together, at the same time, but each one of us at his own home and with everybody he wants: adults and children surrounded by stories, adventure and feelings to talk about and to listen

For the occasion, scintillae-play and learning in the digital age will suggest a workshop named “what is an ideal playground made of?” 

Inspired by international Loris Malaguzzi’s park, adults and children are invited to build with different materials an idea of a fantastic play ground, outdoor, for everyone.
