Thursday 11 June at Caffarri: an afternoon of seminars to mark the launch of the INSPIRE project

On Thursday 11 June 2026, from 2.30 pm to 6.00 pm, the Caffarri Research Centre in Reggio Emilia will host the launch event for INSPIRE – INclusive and Sustainable Playful Innovation and Research in Education, the new project by the Reggio Children Foundation, carried out with the support of the LEGO Foundation.

The initiative comprises an afternoon of study and in-depth discussion aimed at teachers, educators, school leaders, researchers and education professionals interested in reflecting on the contemporary challenges of learning, inclusion and educational innovation.

INSPIRE was established to promote inclusive, sustainable and research-oriented educational practices, valuing play, participation and creativity as fundamental aspects of learning processes. The project aims to foster dialogue between research, schools, educational communities and policy-makers, creating opportunities for discussion and professional development at national and international levels.

During the afternoon, the project’s objectives and outlook will be presented, with contributions from experts in the fields of research and education. Guests will include Davide Ruscelli, Coordinator of the International Task Force on Teachers for Education 2030, and Fabiana Lorenzi, lecturer in computer science at Invenio Educação (Brazil).

The second part of the meeting will be dedicated to in-depth sessions on the themes running through the project: quality education policies, artificial intelligence in educational contexts, expressive languages and creativity, inclusion in schools and children’s rights.
