Happy 14° birthday Fondazione Reggio Children!

Today, Fondazione Reggio Children is a teenager, turning 14 years old since its birth on 29 September 2011.

An age of energy, dreams and challenges, but also the first birthday without Carla Rinaldi, who a year ago recalled the beginnings: ‘We worked together for what we believe in: childhood and its culture, democracy, communities and the future.’

"Born into an important cultural heritage - the city, schools and Infant-Toddler centres of Reggio Emilia - today Fondazione Reggio Children is a provider of quality education, ready to seek out everyday life and solidarity, and to work together to devise new answers to new questions, always looking ahead to immerse itself in the realities it encounters’.

Thanks to Carla and to all those who have walked, walk and will walk with us in Reggio Emilia, in Italy and around the world; thanks to Founders, Partners, Supporting Members, communities, cities, families, associations, children, professionals, schools, teachers, educational worlds, NGOs, and everyone.
