Fondazione Reggio Children delegation at the São Paulo Consulate General in Brazil

It was an honour and an emotion for the delegation of the Reggio Children Foundation to be received today in Sao Paulo, Brazil, at the Consulate General of Italy by Consul Domenico Fornara, one week after the visit of the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella.

The delegation, led by President Carla Rinaldi and Director Cristian Fabbi, is in São Paulo these days for the international conference on the P.E.R. Play Explore Research project on play and learning launched with The LEGO Foundation.

The cordial meeting was also attended by Livia Satullo, Deputy Consul at the Consulate General of Italy in São Paulo and Monica Faggionato, Head of School, Italian Education System for the Consular Circumscriptions of São Paulo, Curitiba and Porto Alegre, Laura Laganà, Rector Superintendent, representing the Paula Souza Centre, Fernando Padula, Secretary for Education of the Municipality of São Paulo, as CEUs representative, Ana Teresa Gavião - Fundação Antônio Antonieta Cintra Gordinho. Also present for FRC were Barbara Donnici, Giulia Ferrari, Eloisa Di Rocco, Elena Sofia Paoli.

It is worth mentioning that in 2023 FRC and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Reggio Children Foundation signed a Declaration of Intent that aims to promote collaboration in the promotion of Italian language and culture and the right to education.

The international meeting on play and learning with the Latin American educational world will be held in São Paulo, Brazil from 1 to 3 August 2024 sees the participation of the Consulate General of Italy in São Paulo and the Italian Education System in the World, São Paulo State Government, São Paulo Municipality, Centro Paula Souza, CEU-Centro Educativo Unificato Butantã, Red Solare Brasil, aeioTU, Lemann Foundation, Escolas Criativas, RBAC - Brazilian Network for Creative Learning, Cintra Gordinho Foundation and Raiz y Fronda.
