From Climate Crisis to Climate Resilince

President Carla Rinaldi at the climate summit together with researchers, professors and religious leaders from all over the world

From May 15 to May 17, the President of Reggio Children Foundation Carla Rinaldi took part in the climate summit "From Climate Crisis to Climate Resilience" held at the Casina Pio IV in the Vatican, organized by Professor Marcelo Suàrez-Orozco and Veerabhadran Ramanathan with the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences and the Pontifical Academy of Sciences to promote a leap forward towards climate resilience.

At the international meeting there were 200 participants, amongst researchers, religious leaders, professors and administrators from all over the world who were received by Pope Francis. 

Among them, mayors such as Roberto Gualtieri, Rome, Sadiq Kahn, London, Anne Hidalgo, Paris, Ricardo Nunes, San Paolo, Matteo Lepore, Bologna, Dario Nardella, Florence; professors such as Stefano Zamagni and Carola Suàrez-Orozco; Governors from everywhere, from Massachusetts, Maura Healey, to the metropolitan area of Santiago, Claudio Orrego and finally a thinker and environmentalist like Chief Raoni Metuktire, Kayapó people, Brazilian Amazon.


Together with them, 8 young people from all over the world who brought to the meeting the proposal of a future "Cop for Children" and a key word: Ecoesperanza/ Ecohope.
