Call for applications open for the 41st cycle of the PhD Program in Reggio Childhood Studies

The call for applications for admission to the XLI Cycle of the Doctoral Program in Reggio Childhood Studies - from early childhood to lifelong learning, for the academic year 2025/2026, is online.

The PhD is sponsored by the Reggio Children Foundation and the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia - Department of Education and Human Sciences. It is an industrial research course, strongly interdisciplinary, aimed at deepening and developing the educational experience of Reggio Emilia, with the goal of addressing emerging challenges in contemporary educational contexts.

The course is also configured as a residential community: PhD students share spaces and working time within the industrial context of Fondazione Reggio Children Foundation - Centro Loris Malaguzzi.

Candidates holding a Master's degree or an equivalent degree obtained abroad are eligible for the PhD. The track is open to profiles from different disciplinary backgrounds.

Applications for a.y. 2025/2026 are due no later than June 30, 2025 at 3:30 pm.
Eight scholarship positions are available.
