Fondazione Reggio Children and The LEGO Foundation together with a new collaboration with Project P.E.R. - Play Explore Research, which will officially launch on November 16th and 17th, in Reggio Emilia at Centro Internazionale Loris Malaguzzi.
First event: Thursday, November 16th at 5:30pm, launch conference with the presence of:
- Luca Vecchi, Mayor of Reggio Emilia
- Carla Rinaldi, President of Fondazione Reggio Children
- Sidsel Marie Kristensen, CEO The LEGO Foundation
- Vanna Iori, Istituto Toniolo-Università Cattolica di Milano
- Mitchel Resnick, LEGO Papert Professor al MIT Media Lab and Director of Lifelong Kindergarten
Continuing on Friday November 17th at 5:00pm with the presentation and test session of Octostudio, the new app for creative coding designed by the Lifelong Kindergarten Researchers from MIT Media Lab.
Participants, divided in groups, will be able to take part in exploring the many possibilities of the app, along with the researchers of Lifelong Kindergarten and Fondazione Reggio Children.
Both events will be free to attend upon registration. Simultaneous translation from Italian to English will be available.

P.E.R. Play Explore Research
From the collaboration between the Reggio Children Foundation and The Lego Foundation comes the P.E.R. project, which aims to promote and spread the relationship between play and learning the right to a quality education for all, involving teachers and educators from all over the world in a creative learning path through conferences and experiences in the 5 continents.
