As part of the Bambini al Centro and Domeniche al Centro programme, on the occasion of Loris Malaguzzi's birthday
On the occasion of Loris Malaguzzi's birthday, the Loris Malaguzzi International Centre and the Caffarri await you on Sunday 23 February with a rich programme of ateliers, workshops, guided and dialogue tours and educational proposals.

Programme:
" Un salto in Via Gioia: activities and explorations at the Caffarri".
The workshops of the Fondazione Reggio Children at the Caffarri open to free visits with activities, explorations and research on play and matter.
An afternoon dedicated to children, families and people of all ages to get to know a new space in the Santa Croce neighbourhood of Reggio Emilia with the possibility of activities and explorations with free admission with Remida, the Creative Recycling Centre, scintillae play and learning in the digital age and the PhD in Reggio Childhood Studies.

Dialogue visit of the Ex Caffarri spaces
A place that was once the carpenter's workshop of the Officine Meccaniche Reggiane, then a feed mill, becomes a space dedicated to research, education and sustainability, in dialogue with the neighbourhood, the city and communities around the world.
At the Caffarri in Reggio Emilia, located a stone's throw from the Loris Malaguzzi International Centre and Reggiane Innovation Park, the Fondazione Reggio Children sets its research on quality education, solidarity, regeneration, social and environmental sustainability, and creative learning, seeking interactions and convergences and involving new partners.
The Ex Caffarri is also the new headquarters of Remida, the Creative Recycling Centre of Reggio Emilia.

Gymnasium of Questions
How can creativity be cultivated and space given to the different competences of children in formal and informal educational contexts? The motivation and passion of the learner are key levers in education. This action-research project has two appointments (24 November 2024 and 23 February 2025) and aims to explore the use of open, inclusive and generative questions to accompany the natural curiosity of children.

Target audience: Teachers of all levels, educators and adults in general who work with children and adolescents
