Activating educational communities

Wednesday 1 June at M9 - Museo del '900 in Venice Mestre will be held the final meeting of the 4th edition of the project "Inhabit the country - The culture of demand" whose central theme is "Activate educational communities: new generations for a future project".

The initiative is carried out by CNAPPC with Fondazione Reggio Children - Centro Loris Malaguzzi and in collaboration, for Veneto, with the Order of Architects PPC of Venice opening the cycle of meetings hosted in the Auditorium Cesare De Michelis of M9 and then in 33 Italian pilot territories, that will see children and young people from 3 to 18 years old together with teachers and architects for a reflection on the city of the future.


The event, realized with the participation of the students of the Leonardo da Vinci Institute of Mestre and those of the Rudolf Steiner Institute of Oriago, will be coordinated by the architects Chiara Carrer and Franco Gazzarri, Referents for the Order of Architects of Venice and by the architects Maria Paola Favalli and Federico Zuanier as tutors. The different educational communities, the school with pupils and teachers, the community of architects with the Order and its members, as an active subject of knowledge and reading the territory, will relate to each other, putting themselves "in dialogue" at the work day organized in M9 - Museo del '900. Children and young people present, as observers of the places they live and stakeholders, will ask questions to the architects and the latter, in their role of designers, will investigate new applications for a participatory idea of 'City of the Future'.

For the architects enrolled in the Order, participation in the event provides the recognition of three training credits.
