Rigenerazioni: Santa Croce associations together for Domeniche al Centro
Activities and readings for children and families and a round table discussion on neighborhood projects to create resilient communities.

On the occasion of the tradional Domenica al Centro, held each month at Centro Internazionale Loris Malaguzzi, two events will be organised as part of Remida and Fondazione Reggio Children’s ongoing “Rigenerazioni” project in the Santa Croce neighborhood on Sunday, Oct. 16th. This will be with associations, local authorities, schools and families.
"Parco aperto alle famiglie”
Activities for children and adults: “readings, puppets, patchwork and book exchange
“Parco aperto alle famiglie”: activities, readings and entertainment for children, teens and adults, free entrance, under the restaurant terrace, in front of the entrance to Centro Internazionale Loris Malaguzzi from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- Coress- Strade will offer “Burattini in Bilico”,a workshop dedicated to building a retractable puppet.
- Santa Croce Library with NatiperLeggere volunteers will offer readings for all tastes with "L’appetito vien leggendo."
- “Ricreare, creare, legare”, is the title of the workshop. They will make a patchwork of tailored messages by Atelier Iwinobo - sartoria solidale di Santa Croce.
Remida will be there with the book exchange project "Salvato da Remida". People will be able to bring books they no longer use to take more in exchange.

Round table discussion on neighborhood projects
In the square inside the Centro Internazionale Loris Malaguzzi will talk about energy communities, urban regeneration, and participatory neighborhood activities to create resilient communities to social, climate and economic changes. The whole activity will take place from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., in a free-entry round table discussion by Remida titled "Projects that made it. Imagining possible futures for Santa Croce."
Among the speakers will be Carmen Palumbo, Agency for Energy and Sustainable Development, Federica Rocchi, Amigdala Association, Carlotta Bonvicini, Architect, Councillor for Sustainability Policies of the Municipality of Reggio Emilia.

Remida – The Creative Recycling Centre
The Remida Centre in Reggio Emilia is a project and a place where research is conducted on sustainability and creativity starting from industrial waste materials. The Centre is visited every year by more than 6,000 people like teachers, artists, students, administrators and interested people coming from all over the world.
