Cookie Policy

Introduction

This “extended privacy policy” has been drawn up and customised specifically for this site in accordance with the provisions of the Decision of 8 May 2014 issued by the Italian Data Protection Authority. It integrates and updates other information already published on the site and/or issued beforehand by the foundation, in combination with which it provides all the elements required by Art. 13 of European Regulation 2016/679, as well as by further provisions of the Italian Data Protection Authority.

Important information
We inform all third parties that the use of this policy, or even only some parts of it, on other websites in relation to which it would certainly be irrelevant and/or incorrect and/or inconsistent, may result in the imposition of heavy penalties by the Italian Data Protection Authority.

Scope of the policy
In these web pages, our foundation uses technologies using so-called “cookies” and this information is intended to explain to the user in a clear and precise way how to use them. This document cancels and fully replaces any previous information provided by the foundation regarding cookies, which are therefore to be considered completely outdated.

What are cookies?
Cookies are text strings (small files), which sites visited by a user send to their terminal (PC, tablet, smartphone, etc.), where they are stored and then retransmitted to the same sites that sent them, during the next visit of the same user.

Types of cookies and related purposes
The cookies used in this website are of the following types:
1. Technical cookies: they allow users to browse through the website in an optimal and fast way and make efficient use of the services and/or the various options it offers, for example, allowing them to make a purchase or login to access reserved areas. These cookies are necessary to improve the usability of the website, but can still be disabled.
2. Third party cookies: these are cookies installed on the user’s terminal by third-party site operators through this site. Third-party cookies, mainly for analysis purposes, are derived from the functions of Google Analytics. You can obtain more information about Google Analytics by clicking on the following link: http://www.google.com/analytics.

To disable cookies and to prevent Google Analytics from collecting navigation data, you can download the browser add-on to deactivate Google Analytics by clicking on the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

Browser set up
We also inform you that users can configure their privacy parameters in relation to the installation and use cookies, freely and at any time, directly through their browser by following the relevant instruction.

In particular, users can set the so-called “private browsing”, thanks to which their browser stops saving the history of the websites visited, any passwords entered, cookies and other information on the pages visited.

We warn that if users decide to disable all cookies (including those of a technical nature), the quality and speed of the services provided by this website may get drastically worse and users could lose access to some areas of the site itself.
